Hi, I'm Paula Allen.
I love grant writing and helping those in the Early Childhood industry get their programs out. It warms my heart when I see the impact we can make together.
I have a degree in Child Development from California State University, Fresno, where I was able to study a multitude of theories and practices that influence Early Childhood as it is today.
I ran a large family home daycare and centers over the course of 17 years. During this time, I was an active member in NAEYC, CAEYC, CCAEYC, and was a workshop leader at their conferences. I also served on the board, as President and other positions, for the local Family Childcare Association.
While I took a right turn and delved into business development and administration, I kept up one foot in the industry through working with families and early childhood providers and writing articles for publications.
I have recently branched into grant writing and reporting as a way to support this industry that has been my love for my entire life.

Many people ask about payments for grant writing services. There are a few ways grant writers are paid by organizations: (1) Fee per grant written; (2) Hourly fee; (3) Stipend plus percentage of grant received. I am a contractor and arrange all my own taxes/fees that are associated with the grant writing process. We can work together to create a win/win partnership.
I can work with your organization to create the data collection and reporting needed for each grant.
